Dare2Lead is proud to be different from any other training provider.
Our organisation was founded in 2011 by social entrepreneur, youth leader and global campaigner John Loughton and formally launched at Windsor Castle in 2012. We began as a grassroots organisation, developing training and support programmes for some of the UK’s hardest to reach communities.
The passion we have for authentic leadership and social justice is inspired by John’s personal journey through struggle to success. Growing up in an impoverished, workless household in Scotland, and blighted by violence, drugs and mental health issues, he has gone on to run a global business, head various political campaigns and engage with many of the world’s most powerful figures.
Dare2Lead are today experts in delivering first class leadership training across the voluntary sector in Scotland. Our social enterprise model means that by working with us, you also invest in improving local communities. In our four years, we have worked with 56 clients across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
We offer bespoke leadership and staff training for organisations dedicated to delivering strong outcomes for social change. We combine personal development with proven management and leadership tools through our Personal Authentic Leadership (PAL) model.
